If you have been following me for any length of time now, you would know that i’ve been dubbed by most of my followers as “The Wallpaper Queen” (A title I gladly accept). I get dozens and dozens of questions every single week in regards to wallpaper. “How do I do this?” What kind of tools do you need?” “What is your favorite brand?” “Where do you buy most of your wallpaper?”
Today, I am FINALLY FINALLY getting around to putting together a guide on all of my absolute favorite, tried and true wallpaper collections and where to find them!
It’s only appropriate that I start this off with my favorite collection, Designer’s Guild. This is a collection I have swooned over for years and years (before I could even afford it) and I used this paper in my previous home as well, but when I tell you it is literally about to be ALL over Greystone, I am not even slightly exaggerating. It has been such a relief to me that this collection is not only the most beautiful in my opinion, but is truly a dream to install. Ive been let down before by companies of whom I adored their wallpaper patterns, but when it came time to install, it was a nightmare. DG gets a 10 across the board from me. Well well worth the money, and definitely not the most expensive paper i’ve ever purchased, but the best quality for sure.

Next up on my list of favorite papers is House of Hackney. This is another UK based company (are we seeing a trend here?) and I just love their use of color while still offering a vintage, timeless floral feel. I again, have personally worked with and installed this paper and can attest to the quality of the paper and ease of installation.

Next on my list of absolute favorite wallpaper brands is Cole and Son. And yes, it is also a UK based company. You may recognize some of these patterns below from rooms in my own home. I have installed this wallpaper not only in my own home, but for clients as well and its truly a dream to work with. If you are looking for a beautiful, whimsical paper, this is the brand for you.

This next brand it the brand you want to shop if you want a beautiful quality wallpaper for an AMAZING price point. York somehow manages to produce amazing wallpapers at an extremely affordable price, and they have partnered with some of the hottest names in the game, like Magnolia Home and Rifle Paper Co. I have used the Rifle Paper Co. wallpaper in both girls bedrooms and truly could not be happier with the look, quality and price!

Some honorable mention brands i’d be remiss to not mention are Scalamandre, Schumacher, Lee Jofa and Brunschwig & Fils. I love all of these companies, but i’ve had some difficulty installing some of their papers, and for that reason, I wouldn’t put them at the top of my list of suggestions, especially for my followers who plan to try to install themselves!
All in all, the wallpaper world is a vast and beautiful plain. I have navigated this plain thoroughly over the last few years and don’t plan on stopping any time soon. The more knowledge I gather, the more I promise to share with you all!
